Sisterhood is the foundation of a good sorority. Over 100 years ago, Delta Zeta
was founded on the principle of sincere and lasting friendship. Sisterhood is a bond
that will last well beyond our collegiate years. No matter the amount of distance
or time that may separate us, sisters are forever.
Sisterhood is developed among ladies that love, respect, and honor not only themselves,
but also one another. It's helping a sister understand that she is not the
only one going through the pains of life. It's being a shoulder to cry on, an
ear to listen, or celebrating life's joys together. It is a group of actions,
a commitment, and a support that we can rely on.
We realize that college is a very new and intimidating experience for many girls. We believe, however, that the bond of sisterhood truly helps to make the transition from high school to college much easier. There is nothing like having a Big Sister to give you the scoop on all the fun places to eat and hang out, or to help you with your classes!
With membership in Delta Zeta, you will undoubtedly discover the true meaning of sisterhood. Whether we are exploring caves together, having an awesome experience rockclimbing, a girls only movie night, or dressing up for a date party – we absolutely love spending time together! You will spend lots of time getting to know your new Delta Zeta sisters both inside and out, forming bonds of friendship that will continue to blossom even once college days come to a close. After all, the foundation of Delta Zeta’s success is in its strong and everlasting sisterhood.
Our sisterhoods include pumpkin carving, holiday gift exchanges,
movie nights, ice cream socials, pottery painting, concerts in our living room, scrapbooking, cook-outs and so much more!
